Support for men with testicular cancer in the South West
We are delighted to announce our support of It’s in the Bag, and their fundraising campaign, Le Tour de Balls Trois. This is their 3rd cycling tour which first took place in 2016, then in 2019 and now 2022.
The team of 16 cyclists will ride 300 miles in 3 days starting on Saturday 30th April at the iconic naked chalk sculpture at Cerne Abbas landscape and completing the tour on Monday 2nd May at The Globe Frampton Cotterell. The tour also known as Chalk and Downs, will travel from Dorset, through Somerset, Wilshire and Gloucester taking in some of the wonderful chalk sculptures and travelling through some of the magnificent downs.

“We like so many charities have suffered greatly through the pandemic, as much of our work is face to face. Not only have we not been able to meet up and stage events, our main fundraisers have not happened too. We are so thrilled to get the support of Astra Security once again, as without companies like this doing their bit, we would find it difficult to get events and campaigns like this off the ground. A big thank you, as always, to Paul Beet and the team at Astra Security for their sponsorship and ongoing support, it all makes a huge difference.”

It’s in the Bag provides hands on support for men with testicular cancer in the South West, as well as raising awareness of the disease across the region and beyond. The charity is run by a group of testicular cancer survivors with support from specialist NHS staff.
Supporting charities and local communities is part of the ethos at Astra Security, who understand the importance of giving something back. As a result, they support several charitable and fundraising initiatives across the region.
