Its in the Bag 10th Anniversary Testicular Ball A great success

On the 12th October, It’s in the Bag hosted its 10th Anniversary Ball, to celebrate the achievements since its launch in 2009. And, it was a great success!

The event, sponsored by Astra Security was spectacular, with live entertainment, a wonderful dinner and an extra special ‘Golden Pants Awards Ceremony’ which all took place in the iconic Great Hall at Bristol Grammar School.

On the night, many of the charity’s volunteers were recognised, who have all given many hours of valuable time and energy to support this amazing cause.

A big thank you to Astra Security - we couldn’t ask for any more….

Sue Brand, Founder and expert in testicular cancer explained ‘Tonight has been all about seeing how far we’ve come and seeing and thanking those people who helped us in the early days.  We couldn’t have done it without the support from companies like Astra Security.  Paul and his team supported the very first ball in 2010 and now again this evening, 10 years later.  We couldn’t ask for anymore!’

Paul Beet, Managing Director for Astra Security said ‘Supporting local charities is important, we all know someone who may be impacted by cancer, and the work that It’s in the Bag do across the South West is amazing.  They always manage to get a serious message across in a fun way.  We’re delighted to have supported the charity since it was launched, and it’s great to see so many of the volunteers being recognised here this evening. It’s been a great night!’
