As part of this, Astra have now made its own Pledge to put in best practice interventions to help staff work in ways which promote positive mental wellbeing. This entails having a year-long Action Plan aimed at not only removing the stigma surrounding mental health but pledging to actively encourage all staff to look after their mental health and well-being by creating an open and supportive environment.

Managing Director, Paul Beet signs Astra’s Pledge supporting Mental Health programme

Jo Loughran, Director of Time to Change said “We’re delighted to see Astra Security take the Time to Change Employers Pledge. By signing the Pledge and introducing new mental health focused wellbeing policies and mandatory training for all staff, Astra Security are demonstrating a real commitment to changing the way we all think and act about mental health in the workplace.”

This programme is part of a wider commitment to colleague Health and Wellbeing at Astra Security, who already have several initiatives in place including the Cyclescheme, Fruit Boxes, Flexible working and a lunchtime running club.
