Activity Packs for disadvantaged and vulnerable children in Bristol were a huge help

Astra's support of Unique Voice makes a big difference
2021-04-01
Earlier this year, we communicated our continued support of Unique Voice, who provide free, targeted provision for vulnerable and disadvantaged children and their families in Bristol.
The support from Astra helped fund the development and delivery of over 250 Stay at Home Activity Packs, which were delivered across the city during the February Half Term holidays. The packs, which focus on creativity in the home, mindfulness, and young people’s interests were introduced during the first UK Lockdown, and have proved to be a great help to families. And, they will continue to be delivered across Bristol in time for the Easter break.
Krystal Keeley, Director at Unique Voice said, “These packs are providing engaging activities to bring happiness and improved mental health and wellbeing to vulnerable and disadvantaged children and their families throughout what has been a very challenging and difficult time.” Krystal went on to say, “ We are so grateful for the support from Astra, we couldn’t have achieved this without their help.”
Supporting local communities is an important part of the ethos at Astra Security, who understand the importance of giving back. This support is one of the many areas of charitable and fundraising activities which they get involved with.
